Three Nightclubs to Open New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas

In previous years, it’s been tradition for one or two new nightclubs to debut on the Las Vegas nightlife scene. But 2011 will close out with three major club openings on the Strip.

Starting at the south end of the Strip is RPM, which will take over the spot where Club Nikki had opened earlier this year. The popular Miami hotspot tried to have an outpost at the Tropicana Hotel, but after less then a year, it just didn’t work out. Now rebranded as RPM, the nightclub will have their New Year’s Eve party hosted by the queen of hip hop, Mary J. Blige.

As we mentioned earlier this year, the long-running Jet nightclub at the Mirage was being replaced by a West Coast outpost of New York City’s popular 1OAK nightclub. Well, they’ve hired Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas to help ring in 2012 and open the club for business in the new year.

Finally, the Bellagio will be welcoming new club Hyde on New Year’s Eve. Cutting the red ribbon and helping them ring in 2012 will be “Modern Family’s” red hot Sofia Vergara. Hyde overlooks the famous Bellagio Fountains, in the space that formerly held the Fontana Lounge.

If you’re looking to attend these or any of the other star-studded New Year’s Eve parties around town, be prepared to shell out between $100 to $150 just for general admission. VIP will set you back at least double that and if you have to ask about the price of a table, just assume you can’t afford it.

Are you planning to be hitting up any of these new clubs for New Year’s Eve? Drop us a line after and let us know how it went.
